MEDICAL GAS CERTIFICATIONS

Across the Atlantic Provinces, RPC is a trusted leader in medical gas certifications and preventative maintenance inspections for new, renovated, and existing medical gas pipeline distribution systems. Our experienced staff can help to protect against costly mistakes and omissions by performing onsite pre-construction reviews of medical gas piping systems prior to wall closures. With our assistance, new and renovated construction can be assured of compliance to the Standard before construction begins and final certification occurs.

In accordance with CSA Z7396.1 Annex J, RPC also offers verification of health care facility maintenance programs. Verification of maintenance programs must be completed every three years by a qualified person, in conjunction with the qualified operator and/or designate.

RPC is recognized by the Standards Council of Canada as an Inspection Body for Non‑Flammable Medical Gas Piping Systems, ensuring compliance with CSA Z7396.1 standards. Our inspection team brings extensive expertise in all aspects of medical gas piping systems, from reviewing preliminary drawings to conducting on‑site inspections and testing.

RPC’s medical gas inspections team provides rapid service using a fully equipped mobile testing unit. Our testing equipment includes:

• Flow testing apparatus with precision digital gauges

• Viasensor G100 CO₂ Analyzer and G210 Medical Gas Analyzer

• AII‑2000 Oxygen Analyzer

• Reed Instruments R8050 Sound Level Meter
