MEDICAL GAS CERTIFICATIONS

RPC has experience providing medical gas certifications in the Atlantic Provinces for all new and renovated medical gas pipeline distribution systems. Our experienced staff can help to protect against costly mistakes and omissions by performing a pre-construction review of proposed mechanical plans for medical gas piping systems. With our assistance, new and renovated construction can be assured of compliance to the Standard before construction begins.

RPC is recognized as an Inspection Body by the Standards Council of Canada for the inspection of Non-Flammable Medical Gas Piping Systems for compliance with CSA Z7396.1-22 standards. Medical gas inspection staff are highly experienced in all aspects of medical gas piping systems, from review of preliminary drawings to on-site inspection and testing.

• Semi-annual purity testing of compressor based systems and oxygen concentrators

RPC's medical gas inspections team provides fast service by maintaining a mobile testing unit that allows for service within a few days notice. Equipment includes:

• Flow Testing Apparatus including Precision Digital Gauges

• Viasensor G100 Carbon Dioxide Analyzer and G210 Medical Gas Analyzer

• AII-2000 Oxygen Analyzer

• Reed Instruments R8050 Sound Level Meter
