Preventing, Detecting and Resolving Fish Health Issues
From finfish to shellfish, we provide a wide range of diagnostic services including bacteriology, virology, molecular testing, eDNA analysis, genotyping, necropsy, and microscopy to help prevent, detect, and resolve health issues. Several of our diagnostic methods are accredited to Standards Council of Canada (SCC) ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability.
Backed by an extensive array of diagnostics recognized by regulatory authorities, RPC brings deep expertise in protocols and standard methods outlined in the American Fisheries Society’s Fish Health Section (AFS-FHS) “Blue Book,” the former Canadian Fish Health Protection Regulations, and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) guidelines.
