Fish Health Management
Meeting with Manager - Familiarization with farm history including past fish health obstacles, farm inlet and effluent, on site stocks, husbandry practices, biosecurity procedures, farm production and production systems.
Explanation of Fish Health Protection Regulation (FHPR) Manual of Compliance and amendments.
Explanation of diagnostic tests.
Prescheduling of inspections with reminder calls.
Record keeping of past inspections and certificates.

Site Inspections
Precertified Facilities
Facility inspected twice yearly for Schedule II. Inspections to coincide with times of transfers.
Uncertified Facilities
Facility subject to four consecutive inspections over a period of not less than 90 days and not more than 270 days between inspections.
Broodstock Screening
Prescreening and screening at time of spawning according to NBDAA and DFO requirements.

Qualifications
RPC's fish health team includes one individual with Canadian Fish Health Official status and US Title 50 Certification status. The team also includes scientists with doctoral and masters degrees and a group of highly skilled technicians.
