Chemical Technician

The work of a Chemical Technician would consist of routine and non-routine chemical analysis on a wide variety of sample types in our Organic or Inorganic laboratory. Chemical technicians would be involved with sample receiving and preparation, classical and instrumental analysis, method development and data reporting in a commercial laboratory setting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a community college diploma in chemical technology
• An aptitude for working effectively in fast-paced and technically challenging environments
• An understanding of laboratory QA/QC and electronic data handling is desirable
• Prior experience in a commercial laboratory would be considered an assets
